Allison's Favorite Vegetable Soup

Ingredients

1 tbs vegetable oil
1/2 tsp each minced garlic, shallots. Cayenne pepper and curry powder
1 tbs soy sauce
2/3 cups milk
1/4 cup water
1 tbs sugar
1/4 cup peanut butter
1/4 tsp lime juice

Prep

Heat the oil with the garlic and shallots to soften.
Add the spices, stir for 5 seconds then add the soy sauce, milk, water, sugar and peanut butter.
Sir and simmer for about 5 minutes.
Remove from heat and add lime juice.
Check for balance of salty, sweet, sour and spicy flavors and adjust.
