Black Bean and Red Wine Soup

Soup Ingredients

1 medium onion
1 TSB each olive oil and butter
1/2 cup red wine
14.5 oz can chicken broth
14.5 oz. can black beans
1 tsp bouquet garni
Salt and pepper to taste

Prep

Slice onions thinly and cook in oil and butter on low heat for about 15 minutes until golden.
Add wine, broth, beans and herbs. 
Heat thoroughly and season with salt and pepper.
